This is a 60 minute Zoom workshop from 2-6-25 Spike Driver Blues is one of my favorite Mississippi John Hurt songs. There are some great alternating thumb patterns that incorporate the melody within the first 4 frets. It's a bit of a departure from the melody staying on the first and second string like the other songs we've learned. This song is the inspiration for the Gillian Welch song Elvis Presley Blues.
