Home From The Forest - Jerry Douglas

This is a 60 minute Zoom workshop from 2-11-24 Continuing our pursuit to learn all of Jerry Douglas's solos from Tony Rice's Manzanita album, this week we learn Home From The Forest. This song is in the key of "E" with the capo at the 4th fret to play out of open "C" position. This solo is the perfect example of simple melodic phrases made expressive and interesting with syncopation. I love the walk up the scale on the top string, it gets me every time.
